Solution-Focused Therapy (TSR) is a therapeutic approach that enables the client to introduce positive changes through focusing on their strengths and goals.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Main assumptions of TSR<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

TSR is based on several basic assumptions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Client's motivation: Everyone has motivation, and the therapist's role is to find and direct it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Individual communication style: The therapist adapts to the client's communication style.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Focus on solutions: Problem analysis is not necessary - what matters is finding and implementing solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Clear goals: The effectiveness of therapy depends on clearly defined goals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Looking for exceptions: The therapist helps the client notice what is already working and how to extend it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. No pathology: A problem is just something the client wants to get rid of. The therapist does not evaluate or diagnose.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Small changes: Small changes can lead to significant improvements in your life.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
