As a practitioner and trainer, I often encounter a question from young psychologists, educators or social workers: \"Is a few training sessions enough to really help people in deep crises?\". My answer is always: it depends on how these exits are constructed. Solution Focused Therapy (TSR) is not a collection of casual motivational talks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Center for Medical Personnel and Psychotherapy Education (CKKMIP), we have developed an educational path that is fully accredited and recommended by the Polish Society of Solution-Focused Psychological Therapy (PTPTSR). Today I want to take you behind the scenes of our training rooms and show you, step by step, what the evolution of the student in this trend looks like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Basic level: Rehabilitation of old diagrams and construction of foundations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It all starts with the first step. At the basic level (which we implement both in-person and online), we do not immediately throw students into the deep water of difficult diagnoses. Here we learn to change the professional paradigm. Traditional psychology often teaches us to look for pathologies, deficits and endless analysis of the causes of the problem in the past. At the beginning of the TSR training, we deal with<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants learn how to build a specific relationship with the client, based on an attitude of respect and \"ignorance\", where the client is treated as an absolute expert on his own life. It is here that we train the most important tools in practice: the famous \"miracle question\", which allows us to create a precise vision of the preferred future, the art of looking for exceptions (i.e. identyf<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Advanced level: Clash with the most difficult reality<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Once you know the basic tools, you need to learn how to use them during a storm. The advanced level in CKKMIP is a carefully designed, five-module program that prepares a specialist to work with the heaviest caliber of psychological problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We begin this process with an emotional combat baptism. The first module is intensive learning to work with a person in deep crisis, struggling with suicidal thoughts and self-destructive behaviors. We teach how TSR pragmatism can literally save lives' here and now '. We move smoothly to the second module, dedicated to the scourge of our time \u2013 working with a customer reporting severe symptoms<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The third stage of advanced training is a deep immersion in working with trauma and the specifics of treating addicts. At this point, students learn with their own eyes that we do not have to retraumatize the patient by constantly talking about dramatic experiences to effectively help him regain control over his life. The last two modules shift the focus to system relations. The fourth part<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supervision and Certification: Your Pass to Professionalism<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Just listening to the lecturers and playing a dozen or so scenes in pairs is not enough to take full responsibility for the client. Therefore, the buckle that binds the course of TSR training in CKKMIP is the supervision practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We regularly organize group and individual supervision, during which students present their real therapeutic sessions (in the form of descriptions or recordings). It is there, in a safe, fully accepting environment of experienced supervisors, that a real workshop is honed and errors are eliminated. This entire evaluation process is geared towards the ultimate goal of full certification. Obtaining t<\/p>\n\n\n\n
